Strategic Dice Battle
Capture all 6 of your opponent's dice. Each player has a D4, D6, D8, D10, D12, and D20.
Use one of your dice to capture an opponent's die. Your value must be β₯ the target. Your die re-rolls after.
Combine 2+ dice with + β Γ Γ· ( ) to make an expression that exactly equals the target. All used dice re-roll.
Dice are compared index-by-index (sorted smallestβlargest). Whoever has the first smaller die goes first, but their final capture must be strict > (not β₯).
12 minutes per game. At time-up, the player with fewer remaining dice wins. Ties broken by giving the win to the non-starting player.
Maths Warriors was created by Henry Ong, Founder of International Scholastic Trust and SIMCC in 2004 to help students improve in mental sums.
It has been used to train over 100,000 students around the world to compute faster and think strategically to outwit their opponents. Maths Warriors is used in the Singapore International Math Olympiad Challenge (SIMOC) and Singapore National Primary Schools Maths Warriors Challenge since 2004. It will soon be launched in Cambodia and other countries as a national math competition.
Maths Warriors game consists of 2 sets of 6 dice (4, 6, 8, 10, 12 & 20 sided) for 2 players/teams to challenge each other to capture all their opponents dice within the best of 3 rounds to emerge as the winner.
